4 March 2025
International Women’s Day 2025
For the eighth continuous year, PwC, Baker McKenzie and Amcham are celebrating the International Women’s Day (IWD) as an iconic moment to reflect on how far we want to push the gender needle in today’s society.
Each year, we gather a group of insightful and daring speakers to nurture a genuine, inspirational and thought-provoking conversation around the opportunities and challenges of gender equity and inclusion in today’s world.
Join us for this special day of 4 March 2025 from 15:00 to 18:00 at PwC Crystal Park.
This year, in line with the global IWD 2025 theme #AccelerateActions, let’s challenge the status quo and shape actions —both individual and collective— that pave the way for richer and equitable interactions in the professional world.
Our focus? The upcoming regulatory game-changer: Pay Transparency. This initiative promises to boost equal opportunities for everyone and act as a true accelerator for change. We invite you to join a uniquely design event, where you can experience a compelling lecture on pay transparency, followed by an interactive debate among inspiring experts and gain valuable insights from Minister for Gender Equality and Diversity, Yuriko Backes, as she shares her perspective to conclude the discussion.
During this thought-provoking event, we will dive into key questions such as:
- What are the implications of the Pay Transparency Directive for the Luxembourg Labor Market?
- What does accelerating look like across different sectors?
- What barriers hold back progress to achieve equal pay among leadership roles?
- Is Pay Transparency a catalyst for change or just another compliance layer?
- And finally, how can we onboard the next generation into the workplace with a deeper understanding and appreciation of both financial and non-financial benefits?
Let’s join forces to inspire, innovate, and accelerate change. Together, we can redefine the future of work.
Panelists and keynote speakers
The keynote speech will be delivered by Sabrina Bodson, Employment Counsel at Baker McKenzie Luxembourg, lecturing us on the implications of Pay Transparency for Luxembourg.
