Expired The National Mobility Plan

AMCHAM is honoured to welcome our Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, Minister of Internal Security, Minister for Mobility and public Works, Francois Bausch, as our guest of honour at an AMCHAM American Business Association  (ABAL) lunch, on 2 March 2020, to present to and discuss with our members, the National Mobility Plan for Luxembourg.

Over the past several years, Luxembourg has made significant investments to improve transportation infrastructure, enhance customer convenience and lower the cost of transportation to the users of this system.  The national goal has been to achieve lower CO2 emissions and to achieve a greater degree of environmental impact neutrality, while likewise improving the efficiency, comfort and client satisfaction for the users of roads, rails, busses and trams. As a next step, the Chamber of Deputies has voted to eliminate all of the bus fees for both citizens and non-citizens effective the 1^st of March 2020. Much has been done to ensure traffic flows faster, safer and with reduced environmental impact,  but much remains to do. This presentation will make you aware of what the government is trying to do and how it is going about achieving its transportation objectives.

We are honoured to bring Minister Bausch to you to present the National Mobility Plan for Luxembourg and give you the opportunity to ask questions and be well informed on what the government is doing to improve transportation infrastructure, policies and procedures in the immediate, mid and longer term.
