This weekend, the premiere of the brand-new Bengali show will take place at Bellewaerde Park
From Saturday June 11, visitors will be able to enjoy the new Bengali Stunt & Dive Show. All elements of the show, such as the story and the setting, are completely renewed. An investment portfolio of 1.5 million euros has been planned for this new show.
A whole new decor
An Indian theme was chosen for the Bengali show. The old decor was therefore completely dismantled in order to replace it with a colorful Indian temple. During the show, visitors will be able to enjoy the various arts like trampoline, fire, parkour and, as a highlight, a dive from no less than 25 meters high in a pool that is only 5 meters deep. During this show there are also many special effects to support the story.
“A few weeks ago, when the artists arrived, they immediately started to learn the stunts thanks to professional accompaniment. Our internal and external teams have worked hard to ensure that all stunts, fire and smoke effects, music etc. come together perfectly. We are convinced that our visitors will be impressed,” said Charlotte Looten, Operations Director at Bellewaerde.
A whole new story
During this show, Myra and Naveen struggle against the curse of the dark magician Ishwar. Only by honoring the 4 elements – air, water, fire and earth – can Myra & Naveen muster enough strength to defeat the curse. A show for the whole family with a good dose of humour.
“Visitors will be able to rest for a moment in this magnificent setting. The grandstand is also covered, so they can still enjoy the show in a comfortable way,” according to Filip Van Dorpe, Marketing & Sales Director at Bellewaerde.
In practice
Each opening day there will be several performances of the Bengali show. The show lasts approximately 25 minutes and the entrance is near the Bengal Rapid River attraction in the India area of the park. Check the digital panels in the park or the free Bellewaerde app for more information.
