On October 28 and 29, the National Library offers visitors surplus books in return for a small gesture in favor of the restoration of a document from the BnL’s special collections. After several years of break, this action is back and for a good cause!
At the end of 2016, the BnL began the gradual digitization and online publication of its collection of Luxembourg posters. Unfortunately, many posters are worn and in critical condition. They must be restored so that the BnL can digitize them and put them online. By making a donation in exchange for the books, you can support the implementation of this project.
Meet in the foyer of the National Library on Friday October 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday October 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Search through a hundred Luxembourgish and non-Luxembourgish publications of all genres and restock your private libraries!
