Luxembourg, 15 February 2023 – Andrew Walker started his new position as COO and Head of Fund Services at Moventum S.C.A. on 1 February. “We are delighted to render our Platform and Fund Services offering even more attractive in the future through automation and client-oriented support with Andrew Walker”, says Sabine Said, CEO of Moventum S.C.A.
As the former Head of Operations and Conducting Officer at Amicorp Fund Services in Luxembourg, Andrew Walker adds extensive expertise in fund accounting, custody, transfer agency, client service/relationship management and compliance. Previously, Andrew Walker had been Associate Director and Head of Fund Accounting at SS&C GlobeOp in Luxembourg, where he was responsible for European on-shore funds.
“We are expanding the support for advisors in all markets even further”, Said adds. “We have been able to gain an experienced COO in Andrew Walker, who will advance Moventum on this path with his expertise.” In Germany, where Moventum has traditionally held a very strong position, the sales support will be significantly expanded. Besides its distribution platform Moventum will expand its service offering for fund and asset managers and funds promoters across countries. “We will be able to better leverage our strengths while addressing the specific challenges that arise when a business grows internationally”, says Said. Confirmation of Andrew Walker’s appointment as member of the Authorized Management by Luxembourg’s financial regulator CSSF is pending.
