Dear Sir or Madam,

On July 27, 2023, the Chamber of Agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Trades and the Chamber of Employees issued their joint opinion on the draft Grand Ducal regulation aimed at defining the trades and professions organized in the form of on-the-job vocational training, as well as the conditions of admission and operating procedures.

While the professional chambers emphasize the importance of on-the-job vocational training, they identify a number of inaccuracies and inconsistencies with regard to the proper functioning of training.

They also criticize the complete absence of any structured prior consultation with the professional chambers, whose role as partners in vocational training is defined by law and has been recognized for many years.
