This meeting with Labor Minister George Mischo and his first civilian deputy was the first AmCham post-election Ministry visit to follow up on a four-page AmCham letter sent on 11 December to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and other senior government ministers to detail AmCham analysis and recommendations regarding the 10 initiatives of greatest interest to the AmCham membership to strengthening the attractiveness of Luxembourg for the business community and expat population. AmCham was represented by Paul Schonenberg and the two AmCham HR Committee co-chairs, Petra Silber and Gilles Dall’ Agnol. Minister of Labor Mischo and First Counselor Nadine Welter graciously hosted the serious discussions conducted in a friendly atmosphere of mutual respect and shared common objectives. More mutual cooperation and engagement is planned.
