The event brought together an esteemed group of clients, key figures from Luxembourg’s financial and business community, and international guests, reflecting the firm’s deep-rooted connections and global reach. The evening stood as a testament to DLA Piper’s commitment to excellence and its vision for the future.
A Decade of Growth and Innovation
In their speeches, Catherine Pogorzelski, senior partner and Founder of DLA Piper in Luxembourg, and Xavier Guzman, Country Managing Partner, highlighted the firm’s remarkable journey in the country. Simon Levine, Managing Partner of DLA Piper and Global co-CEO, along with Jon Hayes, Senior Partner and Global co-Chair, joined them on stage to reflect on the significance of DLA Piper’s presence in Luxembourg as a global legal key player.
What began as an ambitious idea with just three people in 2014 has now grown into a thriving team of over 100 dedicated professionals. The move to the new office at Place de l’Étoile marks a significant milestone, symbolizing both the firm’s local commitment and heartbeat, and its global vision.
“Our new office is more than just a workplace; it reflects who we are and who we aspire to be,” said Catherine. “The design captures our strong local presence and embodies innovation, sustainability, and a dynamic approach—values that mirror Luxembourg’s own forward-thinking spirit.”

Additionally, Jacques Schneider’s collaborative artwork, inspired by historic bilateral and international treaties, highlighted the foundations of Luxembourg’s strength in today’s globalized market. These elements beautifully encapsulated the spirit of Luxembourg and the evening: deeply rooted locally with a global reach.
