– PRESS RELEASE –
On 9 July 2024, there was much to celebrate at the École d’Hôtellerie et de Tourisme du Luxembourg: eleven ESG Hospitality Management course graduates received their diplomas from Minister Claude Meisch.
‘Your presence here today testifies to the interest you take in our school, but also in the students we honor today,’ thanked Headmaster Michel Lanners. ‘It shows that quality is more important than quantity.’
After four years of training at a modern, dynamic, and ambitious school, the graduates are well-prepared for their future. In their speeches, the class valedictorian and one of his fellow students highlighted a key feature of the school: “In addition to the knowledge and qualifications we need for our professional lives, you have instilled in us the ability to know how to behave.” This mindset and attitude make a significant difference to recruiters.
Another reason for celebration is the Ministry of Education’s renewed support for establishing a second EHTL campus in the south of the country, at the prestigious Château de Sanem, in the medium term. In the meantime, efforts are underway to provide a transitional solution, with two hundred pupils and students set to be accommodated at the brand-new GRIDX site in Mondercange as soon as possible
After the formal ceremony, a cocktail reception provided an opportunity to spend a convivial/social moment with the graduates and their families. Whatever their future plans, they know that the doors of EHTL will always be wide open to them.
