Hurun Report chairman and chief researcher
Born in Luxembourg, Rupert has been researching the Chinese economy since setting up Hurun Report in 1999. In November 2018, Rupert was appointed by Durham University as a Professor of Practice for his work on promoting entrepreneurship. Rupert is based in Shanghai and has expanded Hurun Report operations to Mumbai, India since 2012.
