What | Concert/Rock & Instrumental: Irish quartet ‘And so I watch you from afar’ | They play raw, charging, experimental music that is hard to define. Sometimes angular and noisy, sometimes pulsing, euphoric, overwhelming. The joy, the power, the escapism found in their live shows is fabled.

What | Concert/Post punk |
Fairy Rust, the latest album from Wombo released in July 2022, contemplates the spaces in-between, a meeting of the physicality of the land with the fluidity of the imagination, to uncanny effect. Across twelve tracks, sharpened guitar work, distorted freakouts and downtempo musings see the trio (Sydney Chadwick, Cameron Lowe, Joel Taylor) make a sonic leap forward into new and transformative places. |

What | Danse/Flamenco Festival | « CUERPO NOMBRADO » – PAULA COMITRE
Cuerpo Nombrado is the body in all its conditions, it is an open flamenco whose only limit is the skin of its interpreters; above all, it is a study in movement on the subtleties and potential of the body as a means of transmission. In this show, the dancer Paula Comitre invites you on a voyage through various flamenco palos (forms), supported by two of the fundamental pillars of this art form: the song and the guitar. These three disciplines then enter into a symbiosis to create an intimate, intelligible and sonorous atmosphere that projects the viewer into a play of three bodies beyond the flesh. |

What | Film screening & Get-together: A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge | A new family moves into the house on Elm Street, and before long, the kids are having nightmares about deceased child murderer Freddy Krueger. This time, Freddy attempts to possess a teenage boy to cause havoc in the real world, and can only be overcome if the boy’s girlfriend can master her fear. The film’s legacy is a rarity in the horror genre, featuring, of all things, a male scream queen. Since its release in 1985, A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge has become a homoerotic icon in queer cinema. | |
