HOW IT ALL STARTED
It all started in March 2021, when AmCham, the American Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg, your largest private Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg, decided that it needed to do more for their members and also to help the Luxembourg economy. Covid was slowly phasing out and the world had changed, and new habits had come into place. More orders from online companies seemed to be the new norm. Something needed to change in order to get foot traffic back into stores again.
With a strong base of over +10’000 email addresses on our database and a newsletter going out over 40 times a year on Thursday mornings, it was a signal that something could be done to help the shops in Luxembourg and the economy.
Businesses were called and it was a very timid start, some businesses had never heard of us. Others thought it was a great idea. So, with some partners already signed on we started the AMBC (AmCham Members Benefits Club).
The AMBC is a program that offers exclusive discounts and benefits to AmCham members. We partner with businesses in the local community to provide discounts and other benefits to our members. This helps to strengthen the relationship between AmCham and the local business community, while also providing our members with exclusive savings. The AMBC is open to all AmCham members. Businesses can join the program by signing up with an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding). Please contact the mbc@amcham.lu for more info.

Over these two plus years of existence, we are pleased to welcome over 210 partners, meaning over three hundred addresses where you have the possibility to get discounts – be it in Luxembourg, in France in Belgium, and even in Portugal.
All our partners are from diverse business in Luxembourg, and we hope to keep growing and proposing more partners, and better deals for our members too.
