Schroeder & Associés: new strategy for 2030
“We have the means and the responsibility to change things”
Bringing about real change in our society by focusing on sustainability, respect for the environment and the well-being of all : these are the objectives of the new 2030 strategy, unveiled at the beginning of the year by Schroeder & Associés. An announcement that goes hand in hand with the launch of a new website and a renewal of the graphic identity of the Luxembourgish engineering company.
The stated ambition of the new strategy to be pursued by the engineering company Schroeder & Associés by 2030? Have a positive and lasting impact on society by contributing constructively to its transformation. “We cannot turn a blind eye to the climate emergency or to the changing way of life and the world of work. Because we are convinced that each of us must act at his level to make things happen, we can, as an engineering company, act at the source of the problems to bring about the transition. We have the means and the responsibility to change things and it is our duty to do so for future generations. “, says Thierry Flies, Chief Executive Officer.
For a healthy and sustainable environment
Sustainability is therefore one of the first watchwords put forward in Schroeder & Associés’ new strategy. Faced with current climate challenges, the company intends to make every effort to further reduce the carbon footprint of its projects, thereby contributing to reducing Luxembourg’s overall carbon footprint and thereby meeting the objectives set by the European Union by 2030. The engineering company also intends to implement the principles of the circular economy within its projects, promote the use of local, natural, renewable materials with a positive impact on the environment, but also systematically integrate an “environment” component into its designs and developments. “The implementation of “nature based solutions”, which includes, among other things, the design of natural habitats and eco-responsible buildings, is an example of what we do on a daily basis to act sustainably in favour of our planet. ” says Thierry Flies.
To carry out its mission, Schroeder & Associés intends to strengthen the internal expertise of its team by promoting training, but also the acquisition and sharing of new knowledge. A way to allow the many areas of the engineering company to remain at the forefront of innovation and offer excellent customer service.
Ensuring the well-being of all
Aware that the world of work is evolving and changing, particularly since the pandemic and the advent of teleworking, the engineering company believes that the well-being of its staff is dear to it and announces that it wants to ensure that health, safety, fairness and respect are guaranteed more than ever. “It’s important for us to listen to our employees. Their happiness remains essential for our development, for maintaining the quality of our services and for the satisfaction of our customers. Also, we ensure that everyone’s work can be carried out in the best possible conditions. “, assures the Chief Executive Officer.
Internal values that Schroeder & Associés also applies externally. The company is committed to building spaces accessible to all, conducive to living together and where the well-being of future users of spaces and consideration of the environment come before everything else. “To achieve this, we rely on the principle of a single, simple, fluid and efficient trusted partner. A single interlocutor orchestrates behind the scenes a wide range of internal and external areas, anticipates the needs of each customer and guides him before, during and after the realization of his project. ” says Thierry Flies.
A new visual identity for new challenges
While the recent ESR certification of the engineering company and some of its flagship projects – such as the high-speed tram linking the capital to the south of the country or the new innovative, ecological and sustainable nursery in Roodt/Syre – are already part of this new 2030 strategy, Schroeder & Associés has also illustrated this turning point by undertaking a redesign of its visual identity. “A key element of our identity, our new, modern and refined logo marks our commitment to the future and captures the essence of our company: professional, reliable and forward-thinking. We also have a new website that offers an improved user experience and a presentation more in line with our company’s ambitions. Thierry Flies announces.
