Please be informed that on 21 September 2020 at 16h00, Commissioner Paolo Gentiloni will host an interactive online event “Fair and Simple Taxation“.
The Commissioner will be joined by high-level speakers such as German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz and MEP Irene Tinagli, Chair of the European Parliament Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
The two-hour event will present ways of how EU policies can support recovery and improve the tax environment in the EU. Participants will have an opportunity to engage with tax experts from national authorities, businesses, NGOs and academia.
The event will be streamed on Europe by Satellite, and can be followed also on Twitter (@eu_taxud) and YouTube accounts. Questions can be asked online before and during the event via Slido.
